Youth Helping Youth

At 1000+ Holes of Golf, we believe in the transformative power of sport and the spirit of paying it forward.

Our mission is to leverage our passion for golf to make a meaningful difference in the lives of less privileged youth. We aim to level the playing field by fundraising and supporting initiatives that help young individuals overcome hurdles and access enhanced education opportunities.

Our commitment to 'Youth Helping Youth' drives us to create a platform where every swing counts, and every hole is a step towards fairness and equality of opportunity.

STEM Corner is a brand-new initiative by 1,000+ Holes Of Golf in 2023.

This year, we’ve allocated funds and worked with organizations in 3 locations (Haiti, South Africa, and Newark NJ) to set up instructor led STEM activities for local students after school.

STEM to Flower is a youth-led (middle to high schoolers) 501(c)(3) non-profit combating gender inequality in the STEM fields. They aspire to reduce the prevalent stigma that comes with being a woman in STEM by advocating empowerment and instructing fun and engaging activities for young girls. Its mission statement is “Deconstructing stereotypes and blooming STEM passions in young girls through fun and empowering activities.”

Our 2022 and 2023 fundraiser events supported Fighting Children’s Cancer Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides needs-based financial assistance to families struggling with pediatric cancer. Donations to the Foundation pay family mortgages, utility bills, car payments, and other necessities so parents can focus on their ill child and the quality of life of the whole family. FCCF also strives to educate others about the challenges faced by families living with cancer and to generate additional support for their benefit. FCCF was founded in 1998 and is run mostly by a volunteer board of directors who donate their time and energy to raising funds and generating awareness of this cause.
